Short Listed Candidates for Voting

Dear Members,

Greetings from the Nominating Committee of PMI Bangalore Chapter.

Further to the earlier email on 15th October, 2009 seeking nomination from the eligible members for the post of Directors in the EC, we had received a good response from many aspirants. The nominating committee had subsequently shortlisted 5 candidates for the three vacant positions, details of which are listed below for your reference.

	a.	Balakrishna Sarma Kasibatla
	b.	Meenakshisundaram Narayan
	c.	Murali Santhanam
	d.	S S V Raghavan
	e.	Vijay K Paul

As per the chapter bylaws, this calls for an election to firm up the final three slots for which we would request your participation to select the candidates of your choice. To facilitate this process, we have uploaded statement of intent from each of the shortlisted aspirants in the PMI-Bangalore Chapter website www.pmibangalorechapter.org. We would urge you to kindly go through these in order to make the right choice while casting your vote.

To participate in the voting process, kindly do the following:

  • Please indicate your choice in order of priority.
  • You are allowed to select a maximum of three candidates. Any additional selection over and above the first three will automatically be ignored for final consideration.
  • Please use the same mail-id to communicate your selection through which you have received this mailer soliciting your participation for voting.
  • Please cast your ballots and send it to pmiblrelections@pmibangalorechapter.org on or before 4-Mar-2010 6:00 pm IST.

General Roles and Responsibilities of the Directors:

These are positions in the Board of PMI Bangalore Chapter, and are non-remunerative, voluntary and honorary in nature with tenure of two years. The elected Directors are expected to serve the Chapter on various disciplines that include, but are not limited to: Finance, Communications, Publications, and Corporate Relations decided by the Executive Council.

The Nominating Committee has made their best efforts to provide all relevant information to the members. This committee requests your cooperation in meeting the time lines so that the next stage of presenting the elected members to the EC can be initiated as per schedule.
