Anant Koppar heads MphasiS Technologies, a division of MphasiS that provides software services to customers engaged in R&D and product development.

Previously Anant founded Kshema Technologies in 1997 and grew it to a 550 member niche technology services provider in 6 years. Kshema has the distinction of being a pioneer in the software services industry to cater to Industrial Automation, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Mobile industries. 

Previously, he has held senior management positions in BFL Software, Wipro and Tata Elxsi. Over 21 years of extensive experience in technical and managerial capacities. Accomplishments include building technically skilled teams for executing projects successfully, Channel management, IT consulting, System software development / projects management. Experienced in start-up and business development situations as lead manager and contributor.

A graduate university Gold medalist, Koppar also has a Masters Degree in Technology in Computer Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. A certified "Project Management Professional" by PMI, Koppar was the first CEO in India to get this certification.

Koppar was awarded the “Entrepreneur of the District” distinction by the Gadag District Chamber of Commerce in the year 2000. He was also recognized as “Entrepreneur Extraordinaire” at the Asian Conference for Young Entrepreneurs in 1999.

Highly sensitive to human values, Koppar has been a charitable person from the initial days of his career. To start a charitable trust called Utthana, which has the patronage of the IT community, was his brainchild. Koppar takes time off his usual grind to look into the meaningful functioning of Utthana. He assures that every contribution to Utthana reaches the less privileged.
