Dr. Sastry holds an Electrical Engineering degree from REC Warangal and a PhD in Computer Applications from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
In his 25 years of professional Software experience, Dr. Sastry has been responsible for the successful completion of a number of software projects of varying sizes in the field of Process Control and Simulation.
Dr. Sastry has been associated with Tata Consulting Engineers and Macmet's Simulation system division. He has been credited with the achievement of obtaining an ISO 9001 / TickIT certification for Infosys Technologies Ltd, Bangalore where he was a Director on the Board responsible for Quality and Productivity.
Dr. Sastry is a co-founder of RelQ and manages the Quality Processes implementation at RelQ. Dr. Sastry is also a Director at MUSA Software Engineering that does consulting on ISO & CMM for various large IT Companies.
Dr. Sastry is a staunch believer in the statement that a Healthy Mind is a necessity for a healthy body. His mantra to ensure a healthy body and mind is by virtue of meditation and spiritual cleanliness.
