Currently holding the position of Vice President at Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCSL) since December 2005 and responsible for Core Banking projects.

Prior to this he served as President & Chief Operating Officer at PSI Data Systems since April 2004. Responsible for delivery of projects, quality, sales in India and overall operations in India.

Prior to this served at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India for over 23 years. Last position held being Vice President & Project Director for the Core Banking implementation for the State Bank of India group. Project involved delivery and integration of third party solutions, hardware, system software, and customization and implementation services for a period of 2 years after winning the largest System Integration project in India. Total project size was over 200 person years.

Other major assignments held at TCS include Resident Manager for its operations in UK and Ireland having responsibility for sales and business development for 3 years between 1996 to1999. Generated total sales of GBP 100 mill during this period with over 15 sales and account managers.

Project Manager for the implementation of Electronic Securities Trading & Settlement system for National Stock Exchange of India Limited on a turnkey basis involving supply of hardware, software, application, customization and implementation services between 1993 and 1995. This is today the largest stock exchange in India handling over million trades. The total project size was over 100 person years.

Held the post of Resident Manager in USA at New York, New Jersey and Florida from 1989 to 1992 handling sales and business development. Generated sales of over USD 18 million during this period.

Held various technical and project management roles in Insurance (FFIC), Hospital, and financial applications between 1981 and 1989 in India, UK and USA.

Hold a master degree in Industrial Management from Indian Institute of technology, Chennai in 1981 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from University of Mysore in 1979.

Married with 2 children.
