Som Ghosh currently manages the "Operations and Quality" group of Intel's IT group in Greater Asia Region. He is responsible for driving implementation of software development and maintenance processes and project management processes. He is also responsible for building Project Management Competency in the organization.

Som has over 17 years of IT industry experience. He has in depth experience of managing several large projects and programs. He has worked with the service providing organizations as well as in house IT and has deep understanding of project and program management practices in both kind of organizations. Before taking up his assignment as "Operations and Quality" manager he was responsible for managing the "Middleware Services" group in Intel Asia.

Som is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur and is a certified PMP.
