R Jagdish is currently Corporate Vice President Mission : Quality and Master Black Belt at Wipro Corporation running the Six Sigma, Lean and other Quality initiatives for the corporation. He is responsible for Wipro BPO Quality and Productivity, Knowledge Management and Support function productivity.

Electronics Engineer with a Post Graduation in Statistical Quality Control, Operations Research and Reliability from Indian Statistical Institute.

Has over 22 years of Industry experience spanning from manufacturing, ITES and IT. He has handled various portfolios during his 22 years i.e. Design, Quality assurance, technical support for data communications, customer care, Strategic sourcing, project management, business excellence etc

Spent about 4 years in Research and Production Engineering function with a Telecom design company (entre for Development of Telematics) engaged in design and development of Digital Switching Systems.

Worked with Motorola for 10 years in various functions including Quality Assurance and Reliability, Technical Support for data communication products, Customer Satisfaction and Business Process Improvement. Was responsible to roll out the Six Sigma program for Motorola Manufacturing operations in India working with Motorola University.

Has been an International assessor in Motorola for assessing Motorola facilities in Quality Systems Review in line with Malcolm Baldridge criteria.

He was also heading the Asia Strategic Sourcing team for TYCO Healthcare a TYCO Group of companies where his team developed more than 50 Suppliers in Asia for various commodities and had widely used Six Sigma methodology to develop Supplier Quality Systems.

He has been a speaker on various forums and organizations during the past 9years.

Married with two children. Interested in Karnatic Music both vocal and Instrumental. Hobbies include gardening, playing instrumental music and cricket.
