He retired as the Engineer-In-Chief
of the Armed Forces on 1st
February 2005. He was the
advisor to the Ministry
of Defence on all combats
and engineering matters.
He was responsible for all
infrastructure related works
for Army, Navy and Air Force.
He is a Civil Engineer
by profession with an
MSc in Defence Studies,
Fellow of Institution
of Engineers (FIE) and
Institution of Nuclear
Protection (FINP); He
is also a Life Member
of the Indian Council
o Arbitration (FICA) and
a Member of Indian Road
Congress (MIRC). He is
one of the most highly
decorated officers of
the Corps of Engineers
in the Indian Army. He
was also awarded the most
eminent Engineers Award
by the Institution of
Engineers in 2004.
He is presently working
with Sobha Developers
Bangalore, as their Executive
Director.
