IL&FS
RCM Reddy currently
heads the Cluster Development
Initiative (CDI) business
group within Infrastructure
Leasing & Financial
Services Limited (IL&FS).
Mr. Reddy, who belongs to
Indian Administrative Service
(IAS), had previously worked
as Member Secretary (CEO)
of Textiles Committee under
Ministry of Textiles, Government
of India and also with United
Nations Industrial Development
Organization (UNIDO). IL&FS-CDI
is engaged in development
of employment intensive
manufacturing industry sectors
such as textiles, leather,
food processing etc. on
cluster basis. One of the
major activities is development
of green field textile clusters
under the Scheme for Integrated
Textile Parks (SITP) of
Ministry of Textiles, Government
of India on Public Private
Partnership (PPP) basis.
Around 30 such textile clusters
are under various stages
of development.
Reddy is a Post Graduate
in Urban & Regional
Planning with a Bachelor
Degree in Civil Engineering.
