Sanjiv Varma

He has led the design, implementation, automation and organization-wide roll out of the critical business processes including Customer Relationship Management, Program Management and ODC Management. His team focuses on driving innovative knowledge management initiatives by institutionalizing robust processes and leveraging advances in technology to empower Satyam associates globally. Satyam was recently awarded the 2006 Asian Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) award.

Sanjiv also manages the relationships with the key technology providers at Satyam. In his earlier role he headed the internal quality function and was responsible for the organization-wide implementation of quality initiatives. As a process specialist, Sanjiv has consulted with several global corporations in various areas including Knowledge Management, Business Process Consulting, Performance Management, Strategic IT Planning, Customer Relationship Management and e-Commerce.

In his over 19 years of experience Sanjiv has taken on leadership roles spanning different sectors, industry verticals and functional areas. Each of these roles involved new initiatives led through articulation of a strong vision and focus on innovation. An MBA, Sanjiv is also a certified Project Management Professional and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has presented at various national and international conferences and is a guest faculty at leading business schools. He is currently co-authoring two books.

Sanjiv is an inveterate traveler and has also been on several hikes and cross country exploratory drives, some over 1000 km. He lives with his wife Sheetal and son Rajat in Hyderabad, India.
