Sivaramakrishnan Iyer is BIAL's Chief Projects Officer. Iyer
brings over 35 years experience in various aspects of engineering, as
well as working with international consultants to the company.
Associated with major construction projects across the globe, Iyer has
comprehensive experience of developing projects for the government,
corporate and private sectors.
Siva had his schooling in Delhi and has done his Engineering from REC
Calicut. He has worked in Delhi Gujarat & Kashmir in early years of his
career.
He has been in Construction and Project Engineering & Management for
over 35 years. Before joining BIAL he was heading the Project Management
Division for Jurong India in Bangalore. Earlier, till 2000, Mr. Iyer was
in the middle east and responsible for large Power Station Construction
and Engineering Management.
Iyer joined BIAL in February 2005. A civil engineer by profession, Iyer
will be involved in project management at BIAL.
Attended training programmes of one week each in a year at
Wharton School, IMD, LBS, Harvard Business School and Columbia
Business School on Strategic Thinking, Leadership Skills,
Strategic Marketing, Negotiation Skills etc.
He is a Strategic Thinker, an Organisation Builder and People
Developer. He drives change with clear communication for
effective execution.
He learns continually and shares it with others in a practical
way. He believes in networking for intellectual and emotional
growth.
He practices simple and straight forward style for building
teams and thus leading to a trustworthy organizational culture.
