Born in 1953 in Andhra Pradesh
B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from NIT Warangal and MBA from
IIM Ahmedabad.
Joined EMRI (Emergency Management and Research Institute) in
2005 as CEO after 28 years of corporate experience. (11 years –
CEO - Symrise (formerly Dragoco), 9 years - Finance and
Planning, 6 years – Marketing and 2 years - General Management)
in Indian and multinational corporations of pharmaceutical,
chemical and FMCG allied industries.
EMRI, a not-for-profit Society in Andhra Pradesh operates a
24-hour Emergency Response Service in all the 23 Districts of
Andhra Pradesh and Ahmedabad and Gandhi Nagar in Gujarat.
Dialing the Emergency number “108” would ensure timely and
appropriate help for any emergency situation (Police, Fire and
Medical) that threatens life, health, property or order of life.
Believes in people development and spends time in
lecturing/conducting training programmes for customers, vendors,
employees in the areas of Individual Development, HR, Marketing,
Leadership and Strategy.
Attended training programmes of one week each in a year at
Wharton School, IMD, LBS, Harvard Business School and Columbia
Business School on Strategic Thinking, Leadership Skills,
Strategic Marketing, Negotiation Skills etc.
He is a Strategic Thinker, an Organisation Builder and People
Developer. He drives change with clear communication for
effective execution.
