H. Rajendra Rai
Rotarian, Rotary International
Has PG Diplomas in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising
and a PG Diploma in Management from AIMA, New Delhi.
Rai's professional life began with Ballarpur Industries,
Karwar. He moved to Bangalore in 1979 when he joined Fouress
Engg. India Ltd., as a Sales Engineer. Today, Rai is the
General Manager of the company, heading International Marketing.
His career in Fouress has taken him to over 30 countries,
where he has participated in many International Conferences
and Trade Fairs in addition to business development..
Even as an youngster, Rai has been involved in social service.
Rai's Rotary career spans 25 years. Of all the projects
he has been involved in, a few noteworthy ones in which
he has had the satisfaction of success are:
- Five Matching Grant Projects - Artificial Limb Project.
- School Bench Project.
- Reconstruction of a school building and provision of
Benches and computers through a Matching Grant in earthquake
affected Nanimatli village in Jamnagar District, Gujarat.
- Two Digital Libraries.
