D.Seetharam is Government Programs Executive for Government
Programs at IBM India. As a member of global team, he is responsible
for developing strategies for IBM on various public policy
issues, which affect IT industry. He works with various business
groups in IBM to promote and position IBM thought leadership.
He is closely associated with trade organizations on some
of the public policy issues like GATS, Data privacy etc. He
has participated in various trade and academic fora on the
issues related to IT services.
He is closely associated with initiatives of Corporate
Community Relations and Academic initiative in IBM India
in supporting them in implementation.
He is an electronics engineer with post graduation in Management.
In his extensive experience in IT industry of 25 years,
he has held several key management positions in manufacturing,
distribution and customer service. Prior to joining to IBM,
he has worked in Siemens, TVS Electronics and Tech Pacific
India Limited.
