He holds Bachelor Of Engineering degree in Computer Science.
Joined GE as Manager–IT for GE Money where he worked under multiple capacities for 3 years. He was project manager for the lending application software and was instrumental in setting up the IT infrastructure for the company growing it from 2 to 30 locations. He also set up the first data warehouse for the company and carried risk modeling for some time before moving onto his next assignment. He is Six Sigma functional Black Belt in IT and was part of the core team, which launched cash loans in the India market. He moved to Finance and became the Head-Internal Audit & Best Practices. He was appointed as Director-Operations, Global Development Centers. In 2001, he moved to Bangalore to setup GE Global Technology Solutions (Information Technology team for Aircraft Engines/Rail). He led approx. 200 people organization contributing $78MM estimated benefits to the business in ’04. In 2005, he moved to Cincinnati, Ohio USA as Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt for IM division. He led multiple IT wide initiatives on Big Ys and Leaning of Closing The Books process for Aviation business. |
