Has a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal.  MS in Industrial Engineering from University of Minnesota, US and  MBA from the University of Southern California (USC), US.

He  leads one of Oracle’s premier global consulting organization, delivering leading edge, knowledge based, solutions powered by Oracle Applications and Technology to customers around the world.   During his 18 years at Oracle, Vivek has headed corporate sales, pre-sales and consulting groups for Oracle India, started and headed the consulting group for Oracle Korea, headed automotive consulting group of Oracle in Thailand, and headed the Manufacturing consulting group of Oracle in Los Angeles, USA  

Prior to his career at Oracle, Vivek worked with Northrop Corporation, Baxter Corporation and Summation Data in USA.
