Mr. M.Krishnaswamy, is BE (Hons) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, and obtained his Post Graduation in electronics from Baba Atomic Research Center (BARC) Training School, Bombay

Joined Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram and associated with the design, development and successful launching of Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV-3), Augmented Satellite Launch Vehicle (ASLV) and Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) and Spacecraft like APPLE, IRS series and INSAT-2 series of satellites. His major contributions are in the areas of Control, Guidance and Inertial Navigation Systems for Launch Vehicles. He was the Project Director for the Technology Experiment Satellite (TES)

Presently he is Programme Director-IRS & Small Satellite Systems (IRS & SSS) and the Project Director for Cartosat-2/2A&2B Spacecrafts. He is a life Member of National Institution for Quality and reliability. He has been awarded ISRO merit award for individual / outstanding performance and the team award for Cartosat-2 team for the year 2007.
